How we are handling COVID-19
Tommirock is a multiroom facility that has many features that gives us an advantage in the current situation with COVID-19. A few operating changes have been made to make sure we abide by the health & safety laws put in place by the NSW government and we are doing our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We have temporarily placed a Staff only entry into the control rooms and edit suites in our studio. This means clients can only enter using the front doors and straight into the Live Tracking room only. Upon entry to Tommirock, You will be asked if you have any flu like symptoms (ie, runny nose, sore throat) and have visited any of the recently announced infections locations published at NSW government Location lists. If your have not visited any of the recently listed locations, or show any flu like sumptuous, we required the following procedures to be follow upon entry. – Wear a Mask at all times (Unless you are in a room alone) – Sign in using the provided Services NSW Check-in Code on our front door and on the front table – Sanitise your hands with the provided Hand Sanitiser at the front entry. After your session, All equipment, door handles and hard surfaces will be sanitised using a 80% ethanol solution. Clients are not permitted to enter the Control Room, Mix Suite, Video Suite or Production Suite at any time as we have to abide by the 4m2 social distancing rule. All our rooms have window to allow visual communication between rooms and ducted air conditioning which draws 50% of it’s air from outside. This means the air being pushed into all our studios is Fresh air and not recycled. Please familiarise yourself with the graphics on the bottom of this page on how to wash your hands correctly with hand wash and Sanitiser. We have the following Procedures in place for both our safety and yours, So please help us by following these procedures. Live Streaming will be undertaken 1 person in the studio at a time. A minimum distance of 4m2 will be maintained between 2 people at all times in accordance with the social distancing rules. When it is time for your session, You will be allowed to enter the front of the building, If the door is locked, Please call on (02) 49156917. Our operator will then enter the room to adjust cameras and speak to you from the appropriate distance of 4m2. Once setup the operator will leave the room and control your live stream from the control room. Once our engineer leaves the room, you will be able to remove your mask to present to cameras for your live stream. Once your live stream is finished, ensure you put on your mask before the operator comes back into the room. The operator will give you instructions to exit the room and the building. Please feel free to wash your hands on exit using the Hand Sanitiser provided at the front entry and check out on your Services NSW app. We are not allowing entry into the Control Room at this time to minimise spread onto surfaces and equipment. We have the following Procedures in place for both our safety and yours, So please help us by following these procedures. Recordings will be undertaken 1 person in the studio at a time. A minimum distance of 4m2 will be maintained between 2 people at all times in accordance with new social distancing rules. When it is time for a musician to record, We will notify you by text message and give you instruction to enter the front of the building, (while the engineer is in the control room) then the booth they are allocated.) Upon entry, please use Hand Sanitiser to clean your hands. You will then Follow the Marked Lines on the floor into the Studio room and stand on the Marked X area on the floor. (No more than 2 people will be on the premises during the recording. ) Once that individual is finished in the studio, they will make their way off the premises while the engineer remains in the control room. We are not allowing entry into the Control Room at this time to minimise spread onto surfaces and equipment. We can provide a Private Live Streaming Link for your session so your other members can listen and interact from home. We have the following Procedures in place for both our safety and yours, So please help us by following these procedures. (A Safety Officer will be allocated for productions where required.) Check-In • Check in to the venue QR code using your services NSW app. Physical Distancing • We are only providing essential crew on-site for productions & live streams. • A minimum distance of 1.5m will be maintained between all persons and all indoor capacity requirements will be calculated at 4m2 per person. • Workers will be allocated to Jobs or equipment and only allocated persons may touch any equipment to minimise any transmission that may be spread from equipment surfaces Hygiene • All workers are required to wear masks at all times where physical distancing may be difficult. • All workers are advised on hygienic practices when coughing or sneezing (such as coughing / sneezing into a tissue and disposing it immediately, or coughing into an elbow) • Hygiene Station will be setup with Hand Sanitiser for production crew use. • Store all your belongings in one spot and separate from others. If possible keep all your belongings in your car until you need them. • All equipment is to undertake deep cleaning after use. Meals • All workers are to ensure they have their own Drink bottles and packaged food as no lunch platters or drinking stations will be provided during this time. Working Arrangements • Any employees who are unwell with any cold / flu symptoms are not to attend the workplace or production site or if you have visited any declared hotspot in the last 14 days: • Optimise ventilation in the workplace and have doors open when indoors shooting. • Ensure that workers have access to personal equipment to minimise sharing. • Collect and maintain contact information for every person in physical contact with production to facilitate contact tracing Health Monitoring • Put up signage in prominent locations about the symptoms of COVID-19 and inform workers who to contact / what to do if they begin feeling any of these symptoms at work (available from Safe Work Australia) • Advise workers not to attend work if they are unwell • Implement appropriate screening measures to detect symptoms of COVID-19 as early as possible. These could include testing, temperature checks, questionnaires, or encouraging voluntary use of the COVIDSafe App (noting that any encouragement must advise workers that downloading the app is voluntary and refusing to download it will not result in any form of adverse action) prior to commencing work and / or on an ongoing, regular basis Most important facts to remember TODAY • If you are unwell or have any flu/ cold like symptoms please do not attend the shoot. • If you have travelled to any of the hotspots in the last 14 days please do not attend the shoot (even if you feel fine). • Bring your own PPE including a mask for your protection, and keep hand sanitiser in your pocket/ with you at all times. • Always maintain and practise correct social distancing on site, including 1.5m from each other. • Do not share equipment, if equipment must be used by multiple crew members then it must be wiped down with sanitiser aligning with correct procedures. • All hair and wardrobe is to be done on ones own, not requiring any makeup/ wardrobe staff as they will not be present on the day due to current health situation • There will be no food or water provided on the day due to minimising the risk of covid spread. Normally we would supply lunch however we hope you can understand the risk that this would impose. Please be sure to bring any snacks/ food/ drinks necessary but always leave in your bag or even ones car until you need them, thus they stay isolated from set. • There will be a table set up that has hand sanitiser, spare masks, disposable cloths (for cleaning). Please use when needed but only one person to be at the table at one time (not including health officer) Please familiarise yourself with the below graphic on how to wash your hands correctly with hand wash and Sanitiser. YES! We are open, however our doors are locked. We can only let you in if you have a booking, So please get in touch with us to make a booking on our Contact Us page. Yes, We are still operating our Recording Studio, however at a limited compacity. This means our sessions are limited to 1 person at a time in line with the NSW Government social distancing rules. We can provide a Live Streaming Link to you so the rest of your band members can join in from home. Band members will have allocated time slots which the can arrive at to track their parts.
