Lego Technic Liebherr R9800 Film

My inner child loved my job even more this week, the phone call ended with a smile on my face knowing that we’d get the opportunity to play with Lego again, However this time on a scale much larger than what I’m used of playing with as a child or with my kids.

LEGO started this project after many months of planning and this included bringing the LEGO team from Denmark over to Australia to put their new product to the ultimate test and control a real full sized Liebherr R9800 Excavator.

The plan was to take parts from their R9800 Lego set and adapt it to the full size machine and be able to control the real machine using only the Lego Control+ App and their R9800 lego parts.

Tommirock was there to capture the moment and document it for you all to enjoy.

It was a great day and fun for everyone involved, We look forward to the next time we get to work with LEGO again on such a cool project.
